Brief Biography: Pacius spent most of his life in Finland and is considered one of the fathers of Finnish music. He wrote the music to Johan Ludvig Runeberg’s Vårt land which became Finland’s national anthem. He composed the first Finnish opera Kung Karls Jakt.
