Brief Biography: Barber was a composer of orchestral, piano, choral and opera. He won the Pulitzer Prize for music twice. He spent many years in isolation die to a harsh rejection and suffered from severe depression and alcoholism. Barber was actively composing for over fifty years until he was almost 70.
